Hosting
The NuxGrid service is hosted by 1&1 IONOS SARL, 7 place de la Gare, BP 70109, 57201 Sarreguemines Cedex, France. Telephone: +33 (0)805 54 21 80.
Purpose of the service
NuxGrid is Bitcoin grid trading software with a bot executed locally through the connector. The connector calculates GRID levels and executes orders on the user’s configured exchange, while NuxGrid.com provides the web console used to configure, control and monitor strategies. NuxGrid is neither an exchange, nor a financial institution, nor a funds custody service.
Intellectual property
The structure, software, graphic elements, texts and distinctive signs of NuxGrid are protected by applicable intellectual property rules. Any unauthorized reproduction or reuse is prohibited, except with prior agreement or where permitted by law.
Liability and contact
The publisher takes reasonable steps to maintain the service, but does not guarantee permanent availability or the absence of errors or interruptions.
For questions about the service or to report a security issue, use the Support feature available from your NuxGrid account.
Privacy
Data controller
The data processing described here is carried out by the NuxGrid publisher to provide, secure and administer the service. For any request concerning your data, use the Support feature available from your NuxGrid account.
Data used
NuxGrid uses the login identifier, password hash, account role, account status, and creation and last-login dates.
To create a standard account, the form currently requests only a username and password. NuxGrid does not require an identity document, postal address, telephone number or email address.
The server retains only the metadata needed for connector operation: the name chosen by the user, public key, status, version, synchronization activity and desired strategy configuration. The machine hostname is not used.
The desired configuration may describe the trading strategy (market, amount, spacing, profit target and associated options), but does not contain exchange secret keys, available capital or executed orders.
For login attempts recorded by the application, the IP address is replaced with a technical fingerprint to limit abuse. Security logs may be retained for as long as needed for their purpose.
Orders, capital and trading data
The connector’s local database is the source of truth for orders, executions, balances, available capital, metrics and trading events. This data is not stored permanently in NuxGrid server operational tables.
To display the dashboard, the server may relay a snapshot requested by the browser. This snapshot may contain the orders, metrics and capital needed for display, but the technical relay record is deleted after consumption and is not used as a server-side history.
The browser may locally retain the latest snapshot in IndexedDB to display the dashboard when the connector is temporarily unavailable. This storage remains under the user’s control and can be deleted through the browser’s site data.
Exchange security and secrets
Exchange keys are encrypted in the browser before transmission. The server never receives the values in plaintext; the encrypted envelope may be temporarily relayed to the connector and its contents are erased after validation or revocation.
After validation, usable keys are installed locally on the connector. They are not included in metric or order synchronizations.
Account passwords are stored as hashes and are not kept in plaintext.
Purposes and legal bases
This data is used to create and administer accounts, authenticate users, secure connections, limit abusive attempts, synchronize connectors, display the console and retain the records needed to administer it.
Depending on the purpose, processing is based on performing the requested service, applicable legal obligations, or the legitimate interest related to security and abuse prevention.
Recipients and third-party services
Data is accessible only to people authorized to administer NuxGrid and providers needed for its operation, notably the IONOS host.
When the user configures a connector or an exchange, strictly necessary data may be transmitted to the explicitly configured device and, for real orders, to the exchange selected by the user. No public or advertising-related sharing is planned.
Sharing between accounts is optional and limited to the active positions needed for the shared view. It does not turn the server into an archive of orders or balances.
Cookies and trackers
The application uses a session cookie strictly necessary for authentication and session maintenance. It is deleted when the session closes or expires.
NuxGrid currently uses no advertising cookie, profiling tool or audience measurement tool requiring consent.
Retention and requests
Accounts, connector metadata, configurations and associated data are retained for as long as necessary to operate the service, ensure security and comply with applicable obligations. Trading orders, balances and metrics remain in the connector’s local storage and, where applicable, the browser’s local storage.
Dashboard snapshots relayed by the server are temporary transport data: they are deleted after reading or expiration. They do not constitute a durable server-side history.
Old login attempts are automatically purged after two days. Other logs are retained for as long as necessary for their purpose or to defend rights.
For a request for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection, use the Support feature from your NuxGrid account.
Your rights
Under the conditions provided by applicable regulations, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object to certain processing and recover your data where the right to portability applies.
To exercise your rights, use the Support feature in your NuxGrid account. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL).
Terms of use
Purpose of the service
NuxGrid provides a web console for configuring, controlling and monitoring Bitcoin grid trading strategies executed locally by the connectors. Orders, histories and balances are produced and stored locally by the connector; the server relays them to the dashboard occasionally when necessary.
Account and access
Each user is responsible for keeping their username and password confidential. Administrator accounts may manage access in accordance with the features available in the console.
Any unauthorized use or security anomaly must be reported as soon as possible through the Support feature in the NuxGrid account.
Trading and configurations
NuxGrid is a technical tool for configuring, controlling and monitoring Bitcoin grid trading executed by a bot running locally through the connector, according to the parameters configured by the user. Keys, orders and balances remain under the control of the connector installation and the selected exchange. NuxGrid is not financial advice and does not guarantee any trading result.
The user remains responsible for their choices, parameters, exchange keys, activation of real mode and orders sent through their connectors.
Authorized use
The user agrees to use NuxGrid in accordance with applicable laws, not to attempt to bypass security measures and not to disrupt the operation of the service or connectors.
Availability and changes
Features may evolve, be corrected or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or third-party service dependency reasons.
The publisher may suspend an account in case of abusive use, security risk or breach of these terms, subject to applicable rights.
Intellectual property
NuxGrid, its code, interface, content and graphic elements remain protected by applicable intellectual property rules. No right to reproduce or redistribute is granted outside normal use of the service.
Applicable law and contact
These terms apply subject to mandatory rules protecting the user. In case of difficulty, first seek an amicable solution through the Support feature in the NuxGrid account.
For any question about these terms, use the Support feature available from your NuxGrid account.
Frequently asked questions
Essential answers for understanding NuxGrid, its Bitcoin grid trading bot, local connector and how it works.
Getting started
The basics for understanding NuxGrid and getting started.
NuxGrid is Bitcoin grid trading software with a bot running locally on your device through the connector. It calculates GRID levels and executes orders directly on your exchange, while the NuxGrid web console lets you configure, control and monitor your strategies. Your funds remain on your exchange, and NuxGrid does not take custody of them.
Install and pair a connector first, then create or configure a strategy. Start in simulation to check the strategy parameters and behavior. Enable real mode only after checking the strategy, market and exchange keys.
NuxGrid currently supports Binance, OKX, Bitstamp and Bitkub. The available markets are focused on Bitcoin.
Connector & security
Installation, operation, exchange keys and security.
The connector is installed on your device, such as a Raspberry Pi. It runs the grid trading bot locally: it calculates GRID levels, sends orders to the exchange, and tracks, cancels or reconciles them according to their status. It also stores orders, balances, metrics and events locally.
The data needed for operation and monitoring — orders, executions, balances and metrics — is stored locally on the connector. To display the dashboard, a snapshot may temporarily pass through the server and then be deleted after consumption or expiration; the browser may also keep a local copy for display. Your funds, however, remain on your exchange.
Plaintext values are not sent to the server. They are encrypted in the browser; the server temporarily transports the encrypted envelope, which is deleted after validation or revocation.
After receiving the envelope, the connector decrypts it locally and performs the authenticated check directly with the exchange. NuxGrid does not make this call with your credentials.
Currently, validated keys are stored locally on the connector in a file protected by system permissions. They are not encrypted at rest by NuxGrid, so protect access to the device and its operating system.
Create a key dedicated to NuxGrid with only the permissions needed for trading. Disable withdrawals and, if your exchange supports it, use an IP restriction when the connector’s egress address is stable.
It means NuxGrid is no longer receiving recent communication from the connector. This status concerns communication with NuxGrid and does not by itself prove that the local bot has stopped. The displayed information may be stale: check the device, the connector service and its network connection.
Trading & capital
Strategies, available capital, Bitcoin Reserve and metrics.
A strategy is an independent configuration: name, exchange, trading mode, amount per buy, spacing, take profit and any percentage of profits converted to BTC. Each strategy has its own tracking.
Simulation uses virtual orders and a virtual portfolio. It must not be interpreted as real execution. Real mode sends orders to the configured exchange. NuxGrid keeps these two contexts separate in the dashboard so their metrics are not mixed.
In real mode, this card shows the available capital based on the balance of the exchange account in use and the portion currently committed to orders. In simulation, it corresponds to the virtual capital or portfolio of the selected context. It is neither cumulative profit nor a guarantee of funds available across all your accounts.
The dash indicates that no reliable current metric has yet been received for this context. Conversely, “0” means the data is available and the measured value is actually zero.
After a profitable filled sell, the strategy can allocate the configured percentage of that profit to a BTC conversion. The connector performs the conversion based on execution data, fees and exchange minimums. Amounts may be grouped, delayed or retried when necessary.
The Bitcoin Reserve represents BTC from profit conversions actually filled by NuxGrid. It is a tracking ledger, not the current balance of a wallet: sales, withdrawals, transfers or conversions made outside NuxGrid are not deducted.
No. This view is only used to observe the BTC accumulated by NuxGrid. It does not allow you to sell, withdraw, send, transfer, buy or exchange cryptocurrencies.
The estimated value is displayed only when a market price matching the available currency already exists in the dashboard data. NuxGrid does not make a new external call solely to fill this information.
How it works
Bot operation, synchronization and the web console.
Yes, the bot runs on the connector and may continue when the browser or web console is closed. This still depends on the connector machine, its Internet connection, the exchange and the other components required for operation. If NuxGrid.com becomes temporarily unavailable, local execution may continue, but remote control, monitoring and synchronization may be unavailable or delayed.
The dashboard depends on connector synchronization. A metric may remain unchanged if the connector is stopped, offline, in error or if communication is delayed. Check its status and last contact before changing a configuration.
Security & responsibility
Limits, account protection and your responsibilities.
No. NuxGrid is a technical tool. You remain responsible for your parameters, enabling real mode, your exchange keys, the orders sent and the risks associated with trading.
Use a unique password for your NuxGrid account and protect access to the device hosting the connector. The account password is stored as a hash, not in plaintext. Exchange credentials are encrypted in the browser before transmission and then stored locally on the connector in a file protected by system permissions; this file is not encrypted at rest by NuxGrid.
